Zephyr attends Industrial Supply Association trade show in San Antonio

Zephyr Tool exhibited in April at the ISA trade show in San Antonio, Texas. "we had a great turnout and attendance to our booth" stated Earl Houston, Vice President. The show was highlighted by our inclusion in the Hall of Innovation. "the response to the introduction of the new tool, our ZT 3000A positive feed drill, was phenomenal" remarked Jim Harper, Sales Manager.

To increase traffic and drive more attendees to the booth Zephyr had a banner in the main hall, pictured below, to entice potential distributors. This was a vinyl version of the brochure of the new tool outlining features and benefits, tool dimensions, performance output, and photo.

POSITIVE FEED DRILLING SYSTEM

Zephyr Manufacturing Co., Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of its new state-of-the-art ZT3000A POSITIVE FEED DRILLING SYSTEM. The new ZT3000A offers the most complete range of feeds and speeds in a light weight (7 lbs.) high power (nominal 1.5 HP) drill providing exceptional power to weight ratio. In particular, the new tool delivers a much higher torque output than any competitive tool available today. A much larger range of hole sizes can be drilled with one compact tool. The new ZT3000A provides the customer the ability to eliminate a multitude of tools weighing almost twice as much; thus reducing maintenance costs and significant tool part inventory costs as well.

“We are extremely excited about the benefits the new ZT3000A offers the customer”, stated Bernie Kersulis, Zephyr’s President. “We have overcome the nagging problem that customers are experiencing today in retract after stall without the use of booster pumps or necessary tool removal from the fixture”, stated Kersulis.

Zephyr’s new ZT3000A was designed to meet the portable close tolerance drilling requirements of today’s major aircraft manufacturers and sub-contractors dealing with dissimilar material stack-ups, including aluminum, titanium and composites.

Ease of operation and set-up are optimized by the latest safety features of automatic air shut-off and simple two-button operation combined with a fully enclosed spindle guard with no pinch points. Zephyr has a short video demonstration available on CD, DVD, or electronic mail.
